Wanted to find an easy going but effective french program to eventually pass my french citizen test one day. I started at A2.1 level and working my up to B1. Having the same (amazing) teacher every class really helps, and progressing with the same students has been very fun. Would highly recommend The French Learning Institute to anyone looking to improve their French.

After learning basic French in school 8 years ago, I began at the French Learning Institute to re-learn the basics and improve my conversational skills. I studied with the Institue online and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. The teachers took the time to assess my current French level and catered the course towards me to ensure that I received the best education. Studying online was just as good, if not better, than learning face-to-face, and every lesson ran incredibly smoothly. I could not recommend The French Learning Institute enough – best decision I made!

Fantastic way to learn French in Sydney! My husband and I enrolled in the private tuition program for 2 terms and we’re very happy with the progress we made. We started as absolute beginners and the course helped us build a solid foundation of the French language. Each term was well structured and the classes were customised to our level. Our teachers Nadine and Sarah were very patient, supportive and made the classes fun. I also appreciated the enrolment process and communication. Julie is very responsive and accomodating. I knew it was the right school and program for us from the first phone call I had with Julie. Thank you for a fantastic experience.

I really enjoyed my private lessons at The French Learning Institute, as they enabled me to study and revise at my own pace. My teacher, Nadine, was very patient and supportive. She helped me to improve my pronunciation and listening skills, and explained the grammar. In many ways, learning via Zoom was more effective because I could submit my homework in advance by email and then use the whiteboard and share audio in class. It saved a lot of time since I no longer needed to commute. I have studied 8 languages at a dozen language schools over the past 25 years. I highly recommend this school to anyone who is thinking of starting French or wanting to revise and improve on previous studies.

The French Learning Institute has been a great discovery and I have really appreciated the student focused approach where your own learning style dictates the style of the lessons. Every effort is made to meet your language learning needs, and the director, Julie, takes a personal interest in how the classes are going, getting feedback from both student and teacher. My experience of the teachers is that they are warm, encouraging, competent and well prepared. Highly recommended!

Last September I started the Accelerated Program at level A1 somewhat helped by the French I learned in high school.

So far I have finished the A1 level and am progressing nicely with A2 level and end game is completing B1 level. The combination of grammar exercises, reading, listening and pronunciation is working well for me. My confidence to speak French is growing each week. My teacher Samuel is very patient and is able to explain grammar very clearly with good examples. Not long before I feel confident enough to test my progress on my colleagues in France. The Institute also checks in regularly to ensure I am happy with my progress and the program to date. The service is absolutely brilliant.

I started with the French Learning Institute in February 2018. Now, in November 2019, I have finished the coursework for B2 and am studying to pass the DELF B2. When I started, I spoke absolutely zero French and had no previous training in French, and now I can hold entire conversations in French! The teachers always provided topics to talk about and were very prepared with relevant French readings/news articles/videos to discuss. I was always speaking French in class, which is the most important part of learning it! I highly recommend the French Learning Institute if you want to learn how to speak French and learn about French culture.

I began lessons with The French Learning Institute for just a bit under a year now, i wanted to be confident in the language and to be able to speak to my family overseas as my daughter’s husband is French. I have chosen their accelerated program as I wanted to learn as fast as possible instead of taking years to grasp the language. I didn’t think i could learn so much within that time but i feel i have progressed to the point where I can comfortably have a conversation with someone (I went from being an absolute beginner to a confirmed B1 now).I really liked how the lessons were set out and how patient my teacher is, and would explain and answer any questions i had.
